July 14 th, 2008 - Bath, New Hampshire

BATH, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (MOPN.pk), a green manufacturer of oil spill removal products, announces acquiring monthly revenues for sale of renewable energy to Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSNH), generated by Bath Electric Power Company (BEPCO).

BEPCO is an independent hydroelectric power plant selling 2,000,000 kWh of energy a year to Public Service Company of New Hampshire (PSNH). This highly profitable power plant generates more electricity than is consumed by its entire town. BEPCO has been selling electrical energy to utilities for 23 years.

BEPCO has a new long-term contract with PSNH at spot market prices listed in ISO-New England (ISO-NE).

Benefits:

Charles Diamond CEO states: With oil increasing from $100 to $140/barrel, hydro revenues have similarly increased 40% per kWh since February. Hydroelectric profits increase more rapidly than conventional power plants because hydro has no fuel cost. Having hydro revenues are like a security blanket for our operations. This solid financial base adds the long term sustainability many startups are lacking, helping to assure our success as a new public company.

The hydroelectric plants estimated appraised value is $3 million. Having now acquired the BEPCO revenues, it is planned to fully acquire all the components of this asset which includes: revenues, real estate, equipment, license and utility contract, to be derived gradually from a portion of the hydro revenues over the next four years.
