BATH, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Upon review by the United States Environmental Protection Agency the following corrections(1) of the press release of July 16th 2008 are hereby submitted:
MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (MOPN.pk), a green manufacturer of oil spill removal products announces:
The EPA has reviewed MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup and has found it to be in compliance with Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), sections 300.5 and 300.915(g) of the National Contingency Plan (NCP).
This certification enables MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup to be immediately used on site due to prior review by the EPA for any oil spill on land or water upon presentation of the authorized certification on our letterhead pursuant to the EPA review.
MOP CEO, Charles Diamond states: “This gives MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup a significant advantage since our product is allowed for use on both land and water. Oil spills supervised by a Federal approved On-Scene Coordinator can immediately accept or reject the cleanup materials being used. This EPA certification letter immediately informs any On-Scene Coordinator that MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup is allowed for use as an oil sorbent for any oil spill on land or water.”

(1) The July 16th 2008 press release erroneously stated MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup is EPA approved as environmentally safe however as pointed out by the EPA, they do not approve oil absorbent products as environmentally safe. A simple example cited by the EPA is that if any oil saturated sorbent were eaten by any animal or aquatic life the oil itself would be toxic. We apologize for the errors in our July 16th press release due to our misunderstanding.
